Anya Syrkin, MS HM, CNS, has maintained a private practice since the fall of 2000. She holds a Master of Science degree in Herbal Medicine from Tai Sophia Institute for the Healing Arts in Maryland. Tai Sophia is the only graduate program in the country that offers residential clinical training in Herbal Medicine. She has earned her CNS (Certified Nutritional Specialist) Certification in June of 2007.  In her practice she utilizes Herbs, Homeopathy, Flower Essences, Essential Oils, Nourishment counseling and Emotional healing techniques. Over the last eight years she has worked extensively with addictive eating behaviors, digestive, reproductive, immune disorders and much more. She specializes in small energetic herbal dosing.  While working on her Masters degree in Maryland she became an adjunct faculty at Howard Community College and Baltimore Community College. From 2006 to 2007 Anya was a frequent lecturer at the United States Botanical gardens in Washington, DC.


In 2007 she came on board as adjunct faculty in the Nursing department at Columbus State Community College. She has had the opportunity to create the curriculum for courses in Herbal Medicine, Complementary Alternative Medicine and Homeopathy. Currently she maintains a busy speaking and class schedule that includes several Hospitals (EBC at Riverside and Mount Carmel), Educational and Herbal Centers as well as various conferences. She has taught Making Peace with Yourself Class continuously from 2004 to 2006 at Howard Community College in Columbia, MD. Her class has been taught at Goodwill industries and  Elizabeth Blackwell Center in Columbus, Ohio.
